Learn about IEEE-USA Political Activities through IEEE Monthly Legislative Updates

IEEE-USA has now morphed its monthly legislative teleconferences into a monthly webinar series for all IEEE members to access. Each month, IEEE-USA's Senior Legislative Representative for Grassroots Activities will brief you on what Congress is doing for the engineering profession. On the last Thursday of each month (except for December 2012), Russ Harrison will provide these timely updates on legislative activities in Washington, D.C. He will also answer any questions you have regarding IEEE’s position on different pieces of legislation.

Upcoming New Webinars
Elizabeth Lions, author and long time contributor to IEEE-USA Today’s Engineer, will conduct two upcoming webinars this summer and fall. In her first session, Networking for Introverts is directed at those who find networking very challenging—however, all are welcome to attend. Lions will provide tips and recommendations on how to overcome professional hurdles. Her second session, Getting your Resume on the Hiring Manager's desk (and out of Cyberspace), will address the issue most jobseekers run into, wondering whether your resume is being seen by Human Resources or floating around in cyberspace. In addition, Lions will provide insight into what hiring managers are looking for in a resume. Join us in August and October 2012 for these two exciting webinars.
