Webinar Corner: IEEE-USA Continues Partnership with USTPO in August, Debuts New Webinar in September

In August, IEEE-USA will continue its United States Patent and Trade Office (USPTO) partnership, with the final two webinars in this successful summer series for the summer. And come September,  a new webinar will debut relating to working with remote teams.

USPTO Wrap-Up

On 11 August, IEEE-USA will wrap up its summer USPTO series, presenting What Small Business Owners, Inventors, and Entrepreneurs Need to Know About China . As China continues to open a vast and opportunity-laden market to the world, inventors and entrepreneurs need to know the pertinent information in its patent and intellectual property laws. In this session, you will learn about the differences between the Chinese and U.S. patent systems, including China’s utility model system, as well as receive tips on how to navigate the many complexities present.

Coming in September

On 8 September, Dr. Pam Estes Brewer will be presenting Teaming at a Distance: Learn How to Make Remote Teams Work for You and Your Company. Teaming at a distance is critical to current business strategy, and yet organizations are not preparing their employees to be successful in these teams.
